Jewellery is brand new for Kwartzlab and is currently developing, (January 2026).
The Jewellery Department at Kwartzlab provides members with a dedicated space for small-scale metal jewellery work, including fabrication, forming, finishing, and basic stone setting. The area is designed for bench-scale, precision work rather.
This space supports techniques such as sawing, filing, sanding, polishing, cold connections, limited soldering, and use of small tools. All work in the Jewellery Department is governed by tool-specific training, material safety data, and shared-space safety standards. The Jewellery Department supports lapidary work, glass bead making, small-scale glass work, and gold-smithing projects using up to 50 grams of precious metal.
All jewellery and lapidary work at Kwartzlab must follow the approved materials policies and safety requirements outlined below. These rules apply to all users of the jewellery and lapidary areas.
